Kalanchoe, otherwise known as mother-in-law plant or devil's backbone, are toxic to cats due to the presence of a toxin called bufadienolides. Eating them can cause gastrointestinal issues like vomiting, drooling or diarrhea and in severe cases collapses and seizures.
